Prep time = the time between deciding to apply and arriving in Japan. Here's what you're doing during each path's window.

Path 1 — Language School

5–7 months
  • 1.Gather documents: diploma, transcripts, passport
  • 2.Write your study plan / statement of purpose
  • 3.Contact and apply to language schools
  • 4.Receive acceptance letter → apply for student visa

Path 2 — Technical College
